US stock market holidays may differ from other exchanges. The NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange, for example, are closed on Thanksgiving. Stock exchanges may be closed on different days, depending on the country. Make sure to be aware of the London Stock Exchange holidays if you trade on the LSE. Stock markets may also close for a certain period of time during the day. This is also known as an early closing of the stock markets. For example, on New Year’s Eve, the LSE closes early at 12:30 (local time).

When is DEGIRO closed?

You can log in to your DEGIRO account at any time, even when exchanges are closed. Our Service Desk, however, is available by phone or e-mail from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 22:00 CET , except for general holidays and when the US markets are closed. For 2026, these days are:

Friday, 3 April 2026 (Good Friday)
Friday, 25 December 2026 (Christmas Day)

On certain holidays, when some local exchanges are closed but US markets are open, the Service Desk will be available from 15:30 to 22:00 CET. For 2026, these dates are:

Monday, 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday)
Friday, 1 May 2026 (International Workers’ Day)
